Jeep Powertrain Warranty | What Is Covered?
The Current Jeep Powertrain Warranty Is 5 Years Or 60,000 Miles from the Original in Service Date
The Jeep Warranty on today’s Jeep starts at the time of original purchase. This Warranty follows the vehicle and covers all owners. The Basic Warranty (Referred to as the bumper-bumper) is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, and the Jeep powertrain warranty is for 5 years and 60,000 miles. The powertrain warranty covers the costs of parts and labor for the following repairs. Firstly, the engine, Secondly the Transmission, thirdly is your front wheel and or all-wheel drive components.
Coverage is limited to casings and all internally lubricated parts. Powertrain Warranty is very limited coverage compared to the 3-year basic warranty or a Mopar Extended Warranty. You should look into additional coverage. Today warranty pricing is very inexpensive.
