  • Recall # 16V396000                                   Date: 2016-06-02                      Recall: Toyota recalls the 2009-2010 Venza vehicles and certain 4Runner, Highlander, Sequoia, Sienna, Avalon, Tundra, Camry, Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, Corolla, and Prius vehicles. These vehicles have aftermarket seat heaters with a copper strand heating element. The electrical wiring on the seat heaters could be damaged by seat cushion compression.
  • Recall # 14V743000                                   Date: 2014-11-19                       Recall: Toyota recalls the 2009-2011 Venza vehicles and certain Prius, Corolla, Avalon, FJ Cruiser, Tacoma, Camry, RAV4, and 4Runner vehicles. These vehicles have damaged seat heater wiring due to the compression of the seat cushion.
  • Recall # 13V442000                                   Date: 2013-10-17                       Recall: Toyota recalls the 2012-2013 Venza vehicles and certain Avalon and Camry vehicles due to the possibility of clogging in the air conditioning condenser. When this occurs, water accumulates at the bottom of the condensing unit, which could leak into and possibly damage the air bag control module, risking an electrical short circuit.

These vehicles have a passenger seat occupant sensing system that is not properly calibrated, which puts it at risk of not working as designed.
  • Recall # 12V091000                                  Date: 2012-03-07                       Recall: Toyota recalls the 2009-2011 Venza vehicles manufactured from October 2008 to January 2011. During the assembly of the contact-type stop lamp switch, the silicone grease made contact with the surface switch, causing resistance. This error will cause the warning light to illuminate and put the vehicle in a no-start condition.
  • Recall # 10V036000                                  Date: 2010-02-03                       Recall: Toyota recalls certain 2005-2011 Venza vehicles as they are sold without the load carrying capacity modification labels.
